Rosie Perez reportedly quit The View early over Kelly Osbourne Latino remark

The Daily Mail ran a story claiming the Latina actress was furious at Osbourne because of her recent remarks and then left the show in a huff because the show’s executives “forcedher to apologize to Osbourne after she let her feelings be known.

After those forced apologies, Rosie bowed out of her final appearance on The View, not showing up for the two previously scheduled final live shows.

There’s been a lot of back and forth with the hosts of ABC’s longtime panel talk show ever since Kelly Osbourne made some rather controversial comments about Latinos cleaning toilets last week. Entertainment’s Fashion Police after her co-host Giuliana Rancic made a racist joke, has found herself in a race controversy of her own. Osbourne asked. A silence fell over the studio audience as other co-hosts were clearly taken aback by Osbourne’s comments. ‘Everyone is going to think I’m racist. “I didn’t think they were fair”.

After Raven-Symone told Kelly, “There’s more jobs than that he can use them for”, Perez, who is of Puerto Rican heritage, jumped in.

Perez did tweet an apology on her official account earlier this month, but later told executives she was done with the show and stormed out, according to the Daily Mail.

“She and the ABC executives had it out”, a spy says for the e-zine. “She was yelling at them at the top of her lungs that their demands were disrespectful”, a source said, according to Wonderwall. They were telling her that she better do exactly as they said.

Nothing could save Kelly Osbourne from the onslaught of people who criticized her harshly in every comment section and social media platform.

The desire to get her point across, combined with the fact that she was on live TV, worked against her. “What she said at the end of the show and what she tweeted to Kelly were entirely genuine”. My bad. Your heart is so pure & righteous. “I can’t believe this”, she reportedly sobbed. “I adore you.” The blogger claims “the dispute eventually sparked a screaming match with the producers, and Rosie ended up quitting the remainder of Season 18!”

“I went overboard with my apology- #mybad”.

Nearly immediately after her tweet, Perez received a lot of backlash for apologizing in the first place. And please don’t…ever question my support for Michigan gente…

‘She may have missed a few days pay, but to walk away with her dignity is likely far more important for Rosie in this situation‘. Rosie was clearly uncomfortable, with Osbourne quickly trying to backpedal and clear up her statement.

At the end of the show, Perez did just that, saying, “I want to apologize to this young woman once again for being very sensitive”.
