Rouhani: In nuclear talks, Iran has “charmed the world”
“We must reject any deal with Iran that gives them a nuclear bomb”, Huckabee said in an emailed statement announcing the ad.

Western countries accuse Iran of seeking the capability to build nuclear weapons, while Tehran says its programme is peaceful.
DUBAI Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said on Saturday that if nuclear talks with major powers succeeded, the world would see that Tehran had solved its biggest political problem by negotiation and logical argument, Nasim news agency reported.
Diplomats alternated between insisting that a deal is within reach and threatening that they are nearly ready to walk out.
“We want them to continue to be isolated as a military and limited in terms of the kind of equipment and material” that Iran can obtain, Defense Secretary Ashton Carter said at the same hearing.
Salehi told reporters, “Hopefully today is the last day”.
The minister evaded an Interfax question as to whether phased lifting of the arms embargo against Iran, which might take from two to eight years, was being discussed at negotiations on the Iranian nuclear program. Tehran says conventional weapons and missiles have nothing to do with the nuclear issue and bans should therefore be removed.
“It is unsafe and absolutely against US national security interests to lift the arms embargo on Iran”, Abrams said.
Iran has been consistently supporting the struggle against the Islamic State (IS) terrorist group and eliminating this threat, Lavrov said.
Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said the main text of the agreement, as well as five technical annexes, were “around 96 percent complete”. “Since then Iran has helped kill or maim thousands of Americans in Iraq, has sent more and more arms to Hezbollah and the Assad regime in Syria, has intervened in Yemen, and now has an expeditionary force of Revolutionary Guard troops fighting in Iraq and Syria”.
The agreement under discussion would require a new United Nations Security Council resolution that deals with the arms embargoes, but some restrictions would remain, according to a US official involved in the talks.
U.S. officials said no draft agreement had been reached and rolled back.

The talks have been going on for 13 days now, breaking a record set by the last round in Geneva, which ended with a framework accord in April. We did not meet the July 7 deadline.
