Mr Trump has criticised a nuclear deal reached between Iran, the United States and other major powers in 2015 aimed at curbing the country’s nuclear work. Iranians carried “Death to America” banners and burned effigies of President Trump, as others stepped on his picture.
In May, 2016, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled the transfer of almost two billion U.S. dollars to the American victims of terrorist attacks, including the 1983 truck bombing of a Marine Corps barracks in Beirut, Lebanon.
Trump’s Central Intelligence Agency director Mike Pompeo continues to demand that the full context of the deal with Iran be revealed and made public.
He further said that Iran’s progress could not be halted despite all hindrances and that this spoke volumes about the courage of the Iranian people. Trump’s travel ban is being challenged in United States courts. Nevertheless, when Trump’s triggered, there doesn’t seem to be any stopping him, and reports have since circulated that his administration is considering designating the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a “terrorist organization”.
