Maybe Ronda will fight again, maybe she won’t.
The video, entitled “Perfect Never”, shows Rousey as a cover model complete with a very revealing dress before she wipes all of the makeup and glitz away to turn into an MMA fighter. While Holly Holm’s name is never mentioned, it’s clear that the message being sent is that Rousey embraces the defeat as an opportunity to improve and gain redemption from what was undeniably a career-altering outcome. She lost the women’s bantamweight title and her undefeated record that night in Melbourne, Australia. Flawless never gets a shot at redemption. “So yeah, I’m fine with not being flawless”. Many fighters such as former champion and old rival Miesha Tate even went as far as saying that Rousey may no longer be the same fighter that she was when she was dominating the UFC’s women’s 135-pound division.
Seems like the “perfect” time for a return.
Now, she has a new partnership with Reebok, aimed at telling people that it’s okay not to be flawless.
