A trip to the Great Bear Rainforest and the unveiling of a new plaque as a tribute to Canadian veterans who have fought in the Afghanistan conflict are also part of their itinerary.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his wife Sophie were to receive the royals around 4pm (7am on Sunday, Singapore time) at a ceremony with military honours and a 21-gun salute.
The Royal family touched down in Canada yesterday for their next worldwide tour.

During the formal welcome in Victoria the prime minister joked with William and Kate, saying: “As any parent travelling with children knows, it’s a whole different experience when you bring your family with you”.
As they got to the bottom, both children managed a little wave, with Charlotte appearing to wave in the direction of the plane and George appearing more interested in the Sea King landing behind but still managing a wave for the assembled journalists.
“Catherine and I are delighted to be back in Canada”.
While the military air base was closed to the public for the arrival, the main roads were lined with hundreds of flag-waving well-wishers as the cars travelled in convoy to their new temporary home.
Former teacher-turned politician Mr Trudeau was one of many leading figures who marked Charlotte’s first birthday on May 2 by sending her a birthday gift – a snowsuit and a book, as well as making a 100,000-dollar (£54,000) donation to Immunise Canada on her behalf.
“The lights of the B.C. legislature building are there because they were lit for the diamond jubilee of Queen Victoria and they’ve been burning ever since”, she said of the site’s significance.
“Personally, we like Justin Trudeau a lot”, she said, giggling along with three fellow students. “I hope they come over here and we get to meet her (Kate)”.
