Royals hand it to Cueto in Game 5

Here’s how it went on Monday: the Royals, trailing by one run, had given up two seventh-inning Houston homers, to Colby “Mall Beltran” Rasmus and future MVP Carlos Correa, that ballooned the lead to four. Their rousing comeback to force the series back to Kansas City drew comparisons to their comeback against Oakland in last year’s wild-card game, when they dug out of a similar four-run hole in the eighth inning against Jon Lester and the A’s.

Here’s all the game info you need, along with listings for the TV broadcast and live stream services. Houston won Games 1 and 3 while Kansas City took Games 2 and 4.

The Royals will seemingly have all the momentum in front of their home crowd and have won nine of their last 10 elimination games.

At this writing the Blue Jays/Rangers game has not yet ended, so it’s still not certain who would host Game 1 of the ALCS coming up Friday night. They went 33-48 in road games with the offensive production dipping 60 OPS points.

Meanwhile, on the Houston things, Collin McHugh returns to the mound after making his first postseason start in Game 1. Check below for the Astros Royals game TV details and how to watch the Astros Royals game live streaming along with my final score prediction.

With their seasons on the line, the Rangers and Royals will turn to two veterans in Cole Hamels and Johnny Cueto, respectively.

Stroman has the brashness to be unfazed by the playoff spotlight and his arsenal may actually be better than Hamels, while McHugh has had the pedigree this season to go up against a struggling Cueto.

The added ingredient here is this being the first ever play-off game between the two teams at Wrigley Field.

Coach Andy Reid never fails to mention the successful performances of the Kansas City Royals when he speaks with the K.C. media. “A special note for Astros fan – we will pick you up at the airport, and we’re happy to give you a ride home back to the airport after you lose”.

The Kansas City Royals play the Astros tonight for Game 5 of the ALDS.

“I don’t know how I come off to other people”, McHugh said. “We’re in Game 5 of the division series with a chance to control our own destiny”. “And we’re going to hop on a plane, go work out, and we’re going to show up ready to play in Game 5”.
