Royals rally to defeat White Sox 7 – 5

White Sox right-hander Miguel Gonzalez allowed three runs and eight hits in 6 1-3 innings, but the bullpen could not hold the lead.

With seven runs in the bottom of the ninth, the Kansas City Royals rallied to defeat the White Sox in stunning fashion 8-7 on Saturday afternoon at Kauffman Stadium.

Kansas City’s Edinson Volquez gave up three runs and six hits in six innings.
