The series went to five games, with the Royals winning the first two on their own home turf, and the last two on New York’s home ground.

When Moustakas spied Rudd, he stopped and smiled.

Paul Rudd is undoubtedly one of the coolest people alive, if you need proof then here are 20 reasons why we love him, but the Anchorman star knows how to cut lose when required.

“I’m way too dry!” Not so much. However, it happened Sunday night in Kansas.

That’s a pretty great moment.

Kansas City Mayor Sly James echoed that sentiment in a news conference in front of Union Station to announce details about Tuesday’s civic celebration.

It’s no mystery that Rudd has been a supporter of the Royals ever since he was a little kid. He rooted them on through last year’s postseason run.

Apparently, if you’re going to stay in the Royals locker-room, you’d better be soaked head to toe in the celebratory beverage of choice nowadays; beer. A few fans actually showed up for it!

“I’m just so psyched for the town”, Rudd said, as he frolicked among the Royals, taking pictures and bantering with the players.
