Rubio: It’s OK if my OH voters go for Kasich
“John Kasich is the one candidate in OH that can beat Donald Trump”. A Trump campaign event was canceled in Chicago yesterday when throngs of protesters – many of them blacks and Latinos angered by Trump’s anti-immigrant rhetoric – massed outside and inside the venue, mingling and in some cases brawling with the candidate’s supporters.

Secret Service agents rushed to protect U.S. Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump on stage during a disturbance at a rally on Saturday, a day after rowdy protests shut down his event in Chicago.
Obama had been asked how he viewed being identified as the cause of Trump’s ascent to front-runner in the Republican race to pick a presidential candidate for the November 8 election.
Marco Rubio’s campaign is encouraging voters in OH to vote for its governor, John Kasich, on Tuesday in a strategic effort to stop Donald Trump. Cruz vs. Florida Sen.
Jake Tapper did not expect peace to break out at CNN’s Republican primary debate on Thursday. Marco Rubio accused Trump of “dividing both the party and the country so bitterly” that the Florida senator said he may not be able to support Trump if he becomes the GOP nominee.
As Trump supporters walk through the anti-Trump crowd outside the University of IL at Chicago Pavilion, numerous protesters are chanting: “We stopped Trump!”
Trump will nearly certainly win the most delegates, followed by Cruz in a distant second.
Trump supporter Veronica Kowalkowsky, 18, said she had no ill will towards the protesters but felt “a lot of hate” on their part.
The Cruz campaign redirects all its resources to those three states, with Cruz rallies, ad buys, GOTV etc.Kasich is going all in in OH and ceding Illinois, Missouri, and North Carolina to Cruz.
Senator Sanders hit back, describing Mr Trump as “a candidate that has promoted hatred and division ” .
Alex Conant told The Associated Press on Friday that the only way to stop Trump from sweeping next week’s basket of winner-take-all contests is to vote for Kasich in OH and Rubio in Florida.
“I can’t believe how civil it’s been up here”, Trump even said midway through the contest.
“Donald Trump has created a toxic environment, a toxic environment that has allowed his supporters and those who sometimes seek confrontation to come together in violence”, Kasich said, according to the Wall Street Journal.

At Trump’s rally earlier Friday in St. Louis, he was repeatedly interrupted by protesters. “We must defeat Hillary Clinton”, said Rubio during March 3rd’s Detroit debate. For Trump, a loss would complicate his path toward securing the nomination before the convention in Cleveland this summer. “Hey, Bernie, get your people in line, Bernie!”
