His son called the caucus results there an “aberration”.

Political observers agree Christie stands little chance to survive past New Hampshire without topping at least Ohio Gov. John Kasich and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush.

So where will we see fireworks?

With the New Hampshire primary on Tuesday, some expect Rubio’s team to line up other big-name endorsers ready to come out of the woodwork at opportune moments as primary season heats up. He called Rubio and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz of “stealing” the caucuses by using deceptive mailers, and convincing conservatives that Ben Carson was dropping out of the race. “I’m not running two separate campaigns”, he said. “There are support groups for Twitter addiction, perhaps he should find is local chapter”.

Cruz won Iowa because of his ability to draw conservative evangelicals, his bread and butter voters, to the caucuses. Marco Rubio, R-Fla. speaks during a town hall meeting in Laconia, N.H., Wednesday Feb. 3, 2016. His stronger-than-expected performance vaulted him to the top of newscasts, where he took the opportunity to needle Cruz. And at a stop in Henniker, New Hampshire, Bush aimed some of his most pointed language yet at Trump, who finished second in Iowa, calling him a “loser” with “deep insecurities”. Yet he seems torn between focusing his fire on Rubio or Trump.

The two have sparred repeatedly over immigration and national defense.

Looking specifically at clusters of donors that make up the Republican Party “establishment” – power centers on Wall Street in NY and K Street in Washington – Rubio is increasingly dominant.

Rubio fired back at Christie with a few Trump-esque barbs, noting that the governor, “did very poorly yesterday” and “sometimes when people get disappointed they react poorly”. That has led some to focus their attack on the Florida Senator leading up to the state’s primary next week. Republican Sen. Cory Gardner of Colorado, who supports Rubio, said.

Marco Rubio rallied supporters at a packed Exeter Town Hall Tuesday night along with his wife and four kids who hoped for snow during their time in New Hampshire but were disappointed.

The scene unfolds as follows: Bush was addressing the audience by saying, “My pledge to you, I will be a commander-in-chief that will have the back of the military”. And neither Christie nor Kasich, both of whom have spent the vast majority of their time in New Hampshire, has much in the way of organization in SC.

Rubio’s bus was rolling up to the lakes region north of Concord on Wednesday on a schedule of a dozen public appearances between Tuesday and Saturday’s last pre-primary debate at St. Anselm’s college in Manchester.
