Barely days after armed bandits waylaid a Noida family on a highway in Bulandshahar district and gang-raped a minor and her mother, yet another gang-rape shook Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday.

A woman and her daughter were gang-raped in Bulandshahr in Uttar Pradesh last week after their auto was stopped on highway by robbers. Another gang rape in Bulandshahr – just 12 days before the latest incident on NH 91 – has also come to light where the police did not even bother to escort the survivor to a safe place, let alone bring the culprits to justice.

The gang-rape in Bulandshahr and other atrocities against women were raised in the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday with Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) attacking the Akhilesh-government. There were eye-catching paintings hung on the wall, which the girl shyly admitted to having made. “She said we were lying about her condition”, NDTV quoted the 35-year-old rape survivor as saying.

The men dragged her to Sugarcane field and raped her. The whole act was recorded by the men and the victim was threatened of releasing the video on the social media if she complains. Ask about their health she said, “Both of us are unwell. Our wounds will heal only when they are punished”, she said.

“We dialled 100 (emergency telephone number) for 15 minutes, but got either a busy tone or no response”. My daughter was bleeding but the doctor didn’t believe us. The woman was sent to the medical examination.

Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav will visit Noida on Thursday to meet the Bulandshahr gangrape victimes
