Rugby World Cup: Eli Walker replaces Liam Williams in Wales squad
Wales halfbacks Lloyd Williams and Gareth Davies say they have gleefully re-enacted the try that helped nudge England to the brink of their Rugby World Cup abyss.

Walker replaces Liam Williams who was released on Sunday after foot injury.
But Wales, despite being hit by repeated injury setbacks, emerged from the World Cup’s so-called “pool of death” in second place behind Australia, and they will face South Africa in next Saturday’s opening quarter-final.
The Scarlets back limped off nursing a foot injury during Saturday’s 15-6 Pool A defeat against Australia at Twickenham.
And there’s no lounging around by the pool either, this is an intense session created to get the players’ muscles back in good working order for the tests to come.
But after making coach Warren Gatland’s squad following full-back Leigh Halfpenny’s knee injury, a fresh hamstring problem ruled Walker out.
Having been capped by Wales at Under-16, 18 and 20, Walker’s progress was disrupted by shoulder and hamstring injuries.
Gloucester back-rower Ross Moriarty filled Wales’ 31-man quota after Walker departed.
However, he may not play any part because we understand he would be unlikely to be involved this weekend because of fitness.
The chance of such a scenario unfolding is highly improbable although there is only one back, the Cardiff Blues ultility player Rhys Patchell, in the original 47-man training squad that has not been called up.
“We weren’t clinical against Australia and we have to learn those lessons in a pretty short period of time”, said McBryde.

Wales could well name a replacement for the injured Liam Williams today and we’ll be bringing you the news of who it is as we get it.
