After a pair of delays, Rumer became Roxie Hart for the September 21 show of Chicago, reports Daily Mail. Still buzzing from her performance last night.
Friendly exes Bruce Willis and Demi Moore reunited for their eldest daughter’s special evening, as did Bruce’s wife, Emma Heming. “I would never had made it to that stage without you guys”, Willis captioned a picture of her family.
If she was naturally a little nervous, Rumer had plenty of support in the audience.
It was worth the wait as Rumer Willis did herself proud on her first outing in the lead role of the musical Chicago.
By the looks of it, Rumer put her DWTS skills to good use and totally killed it, looking flawless in her 1920s get-up. “I have a bunch of friends and family coming, so I’ll probably just hang out with them and then potentially just go to bed because I have a show the next day”.
One down! Her dance coach Tye Blue shared this photo from back in the dressing room after the show and wrote: ‘@ruelarue truly slayed #Broadway tonight’. She had to put off her opening night twice due to a series of stress fractures in her right foot, reports the New York Daily News. “Other than that, I was walking around in a boot”.

When asked how long it’s been since she’s had her sights on Broadway, Willis revealed that it has been a fantasy since childhood. So it was kind of driving me insane . “I love you all”. Are you going to try to see her play Roxie?
