Affleck recently portrayed the cape crusader in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”.

Affleck and his co-writer Geoff Johns’ goal is reportedly to make the “definitive Batman film” and they want to throw in every recognisable Gotham character into their screenplay to do it. Movies.Death, Affleck and Johns are looking to rope in a bevy of classic Batman villains to appear in the film, with “many, if not most, members of Batman’s rogue’s gallery” making appearances in the picture.

Since Affleck and Johns are allegedly “going to have a big, sprawling Bat universe already in place”, they won’t spend time giving origin stories to their villains.

Rumours are already coming out for the Ben Affleck directed solo Batman movie – and they’re bloody exciting!

Last year, early reports began swirling about the plot of Ben Affleck’s solo Batman movie, and now that we know he’s already onboard to direct, write, and star, more rumors about the project are popping up. “Joke’s on you Batman”.

While the idea of stuffing the film with “most” of Batman’s villains could show signs of overcrowding, it’s likely that many of those villains will just be cameos.

Now, I mentioned the Arkham games because it sounds like the movie could potentially follow the storyline of Arkham Asylum, which saw players trapped inside the psychiatric hospital where many of Batman’s most famous enemies were incarcerated. Screen Rant reported that the actor’s portrayal of Batman in the said film was one of the best representations of the Dark Knight.

Some of the well-known villains of Batman are The Joker, The Penguin, The Riddler, and Two-Face. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice established that Robin had been killed sometime in the past, but Faraci supposedly heard that they won’t bring him back as a villain like Jason Todd was in the comics, and technically like Bucky Barnes was in the MCU and Captain America: Civil War. There is a possibility that it would only take a while as DC has been trying to keep their Extended Universe on track after the disappointing reviews of “Batman v Superman” by the critics and with only $862 million earned.
