RUMOURS: Man Utd to launch £30m Gabigol bid
Today, Man Utd close in on Gabriel Barbosa…

Reports yesterday claimed that the Reds were just days from completing a deal to sign Brazilian wonderkid Gabriel Barbosa. Leicester, Arsenal and Juventus have all been, at one time or another, supposedly close to signing him but as it stands, the “New Neymar” will stay at Santos.
It is claimed the Red Devils will push through a deal for the Brazilian, who is now in action at the Olympic Games, within the next 48 hours.
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho last month claimed he wanted four new additions this summer and with the new quartet of Eric Bailly, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Paul Pogba all on board there were doubts whether Barbosa was a transfer target for the present.
But they then add that Manchester United’s £30m offer will “outmuscle the champions” to his signature and that they will be a “kick in the teeth” to City manager Claudio Ranieri.

The Brazilian worldwide is predominantly a centre-forward but he’s also capable of playing out wide in the attacking midfield positions so he’ll give Mourinho plenty of options in the final third if he does end up completing a move to United.
