They were one of showbiz’s most unlikely couples, splitting after just 14 months of marriage.

In the movie, Brand, 40, says his visit to Africa for Comic Relief in the spring of 2010 led him to question his relationship with Perry.

He told his friend that he was happy he was with someone he loved but that it was “not a resolution to anything spiritual” and that at a few point, he was ‘going to have to walk away’.

According to Britain’s Grazia magazine, Brand jokes about Perry’s accent and “portrays her as a bimbo”, before his musician friend Noel Gallagher tries to give him tips and admits he knew their union wouldn’t last. In her eyes the talk about their marriage split wasn’t necessary.

Katy and her crew looked they had a great time at the Italian chain, which isn’t too much of a surprise because “when you’re here, you’re family”.

In his latest attack following the demise of their 14-month marriage, the British comedian is saying in a new documentary that he found her “vapid, vacuous and plastic”. She’s obviously deeply upset that Russell still feels the need to air their dirty laundry in public.

Perry, who knows she’ll be discussed in the film is allegedly feeling “embarrassed” and “vulnerable”, according to a source.
