Knox is playing his fifth straight week, going from Napa, California, to Las Vegas to Malaysia to Shanghai and now Mexico.

“I got a text message lesson from Greg Norman on Saturday night and he said he watched a few of the coverage and he thought I looked a little short and a little quick”, said McDowell.
Fathauer was at 16-under 197 entering Sunday’s final round and led by one shot over Jason Bohn (65), who missed a 5-foot par putt on the final hole at El Camaleon Golf Club.
Northern Ireland’s Graeme McDowell made a birdie on the first extra hole Monday to win the suspended OHL Classic at Mayakoba in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico.
Overnight (overnight) 54-hole leader Derek Fathauer stalled out to an even-par 36-35=71 in the two-day finale of the OHL Classic at Mayakoba, missing a three-man playoff by two strokes.
He then reached five-under for the day after a birdie at the par-five 13th. “Thankfully, I had another year of exemption, but I couldn’t be in this position this time next year regardless”, he said.
“The two biggest keys to the year have been the driver and putter, the two things that haven’t been performing this season and probably are my strengths”, McDowell said. Am i not good enough?’ You ask yourself all the questions. In fact, he nearly holed his approach shot before it ran about three feet beyond the hole.
Knox birdied the par-5 13th to pull ahead, only to drop a shot on the tough 14th with a tee shot into the left rough and wind so strong that he couldn’t reach the green. If you’re going to hit the shot of the tournament, do it when it counts. I’ve been enjoying life off the golf course with my handsome family. So McDowell and Knox resumed today tied on 19-under-par. Golf hasn’t been the priority it should be.
But the 36-year-old had such a mediocre season that he returned to America to get a head start on the new PGA Tour season.

He can also expect to jump up from 31st in the world rankings as he prepares to enjoy a well-earned rest after a busy start to the PGA Tour’s wraparound schedule.
