Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson left Sunday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers after suffering a knee injury, according to Field Yates of ESPN.

During the NFC West matchup, Wilson was hit by a 49er defensive player.

Wilson’s left leg bent awkwardly underneath him while he was being tackled on a scramble in the second half. I know Wilson said his ankle is feeling better, but if defenders keep getting free shots at him throughout the game, he won’t be able to last through many more games.

San Francisco settled for Phil Dawson’s 22-yard field goal to cap a five-play, 26-yard drive to cut Seattle’s lead to 14-3 in the middle of the second quarter. He spent the final quarter-plus in a cap with a huge, beige wrap over a black brace on his left knee. Graham, who is coming back from knee surgery, had six receptions for 100 yards and a touchdown as Seattle piled up 308 receiving yards.

Seattle is now 2-1 on the season following the 37-18 victory and will travel across the country to play the Jets at 1 p.m. ET next Sunday.

Baldwin caught eight passes for 164 yards and the score. He ended up finishing the game off for Seattle.

But while Kelly and the offensive unit hope to reestablish the ground game, Seattle is still finding a way to implement any sort of offense in general.

AIR DEFENSE: San Francisco quarterback Blaine Gabbert has thrown a touchdown pass in 12 straight games.

San Francisco has surprised with its performance through the first two weeks, opening with an impressive 28-0 shutout of the Rams, before losing 46-27 at Carolina in a game that was 34-27 midway through the fourth quarter before the Panthers pulled away.

It was the first time Wilson had missed a play due to injury in his National Football League career.

“He sprained his knee a little bit”, head coach Pete Carroll said”.

San Francisco’s first touchdown came on Hyde’s 8-yard run with 7:50 remaining, pulling the 49ers to within 37-10.

This is the first time in Wilson’s career he has missed snaps because of an injury. Russell Wilson threw for 254 yards. That was two more catches, two more targets and 47 more yards than he had in the first two games of this season combined. Graham also had an 18-yard catch to convert third-and-15 in the first quarter. 49ers TE Vance McDonald hurt his hip in the second quarter and did not return. They just saw the Rams take down Seattle, and the Dolphins nearly come away with a win.

Tyler Lockett has zero targets and is off of kickoff return duties (now gone to Paul Richardson) as he recovers from his injury.
