Russell Wilson expected to play Week 2 vs. Los Angeles Rams
Russell Wilson helped lift the Seahawks to the 12-10 win in the fourth quarter, and he did so with an ankle injury after being stepped on (unintentionally) by Ndamukong Suh.

The concerns about whether Wilson would be able to play in Week 2 against Los Angeles seem to be at rest for now.
The demonstration comes as several athletes have followed the lead of 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick who first sat, then later kneeled during the anthem before preseason games.
The Dolphins’ defense had them in prime position to win their season opener Sunday in Seattle until it all unraveled in the last four minutes. Losing him for any amount of time would be a huge setback for fantasy owners.
His limited mobility because of the ankle also hurts his value because he consistently provides fantasy scoring with his legs on designed runs and when escaping the pocket.
Fair or not, quarterbacks Ryan Tannehill and Russell Wilson will always be linked, the result of being selected in the same National Football League draft and the positions they play.
What they said: “The Seahawks were the top-ranked team in our Power Rankings, but a two-point victory at home over the Dolphins doesn’t inspire confidence”.
The Seattle Seahawks season is officially underway. That was the incident in which she taunted him with his 59.6 career completion percentage by saying: “You better be accurate because you ain’t accurate on the field”. “He’s planning on playing and we’ll see how it goes”.
“We were ready to go with Boykin, but Russell jumped back out”, coach Pete Carroll told the Seattle Times. He’s walking around, and he’s practicing on Wednesday. While Wilson played with a sprained ankle they gained 157 yards on 34 plays – the same average of 4.6 yards per play – and scored, yes, six points. And after a slow start, in true Seahawks form, that’s what happened.
Asked if it’s a high ankle sprain, Carroll said, “There’s a little bit of everything, but nothing’s very serious”. Foster was held 38 yards and 13 carries and no rush longer than 9 yards.
NOTES: Seattle got TE Jimmy Graham (knee) and RB Thomas Rawls (ankle) back from offseason surgeries.

But while Wilson downplayed the injury after the game, even joking about it, the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport said Monday a source indicated the injury is “significant” and puts his availability for Seattle’s game against the Rams next week into question.
