Russell Wilson leads comeback, but suffers significant ankle sprain
Griffin does not need surgery at this time, but will be evaluated in three to four weeks. Nineteen of Seattle’s first 27 play calls were passes, majority quick ones to help his offensive line that had new starters in four positions – including J’Marcus Webb at right guard for the injured Germain Ifedi, the rookie first-round draft choice.

This then led to rumors that the Seattle organization might consider re-signing Jackson, Wilson’s former backup QB who stepped up for him during the fourth quarter of 2013’s Super Bowl XLVIII.
With Griffin out, Josh McCown will start this week’s home opener against Baltimore. That streamed through the Seahawks’ offensive line which has new starters in four of the five positions this season. Carroll was a bit cautious on Monday morning during his weekly radio show, saying he believed Wilson would be able play against the Rams but that it wasn’t certain.
“He doesn’t want to go out there and make any mistakes and he went out there and accomplished that, in my opinion”, Dolphins defensive lineman Ndamukong Suh said. Get some rest after three wonderfully exhausting hours of football, and get ready to go again next Sunday in Los Angeles against the Rams.
“I was pretty limited but I was telling coach Carroll and some of the trainers, when I’m 43, 44, 45 years old and still playing, that’s probably what I’ll look like out there”, Wilson said after the game.
Wilson has never missed a practice, much less game time.
Just as quick, that opportunity for the Dolphins to pull off a stunning upset to open the season was gone at the hands of Wilson as Seattle rallied in the closing seconds for a 12-10 win over Miami. The two-point lead was credited to Wilson, who was able to throw a game-winning touchdown to secure a come-from-behind victory for Seattle. Wilson was hampered by a hurt ankle, but came through when the team needed him most. A hobbled Russell Wilson hit Doug Baldwin for a 2-yard touchdown with 31 seconds left for the 12-10 win.
Carroll said the team is “already talking” about adding another quarterback to the roster. Only San Diego had a worse division record.
Seattle would miss the extra point, but that ended up not being a factor.
Falcons DT facing charges • Atlanta Falcons coach Dan Quinn has confirmed that defensive tackle Ra’Shede Hageman is facing domestic violence charges.

Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said the Seahawks are “going to look at it”, but the news might not be great.
