Russell Wilson mourns passing of sick girl he made his goddaughter
An unlikely person has come to the defense of Russell Wilson after Aaron Rodgers took a shot at the Seahawks quarterback.

“I think that in terms of that comment in all that, you know everybody has a right to their own opinion”, Wilson said Thursday, via Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk. I’m so grateful.” He went on to say, “I know one of the things my parents always taught me was just to continue to remain humble in your victories and your losses. Rarer still, is the type of person who would accept a child’s wish to become her godfather, and that’s exactly what Russell Wilson did yesterday when Ailynn asked him to be his godfather. “I love it. Like I said, everybody’s entitled to their own opinion”.
Future’s career has taken off lately, and the Seahawks are 0-2, so the logic seems absolutely foolproof to us.
Wilson has not played poorly; he is completing 71.8 percent of his passes, with a rating of 91.1, three touchdowns and two interceptions.
It’s not uncommon for an athlete to praise the heavens after a win or great performance, but it was pretty clear that Rodgers was taking a poke at Wilson’s overt religious views. It’s being very confident in the preparation and then getting it all from God.
That was a response to Wilson saying God brought the Seahawks victory in the NFC Championship game.

Before appearing in Super Bowl XLIX, Wilson insisted that God did care about National Football League games. We think the same thing can happen to Russell Wilson again!! Just to be able to play the game of football. He stated that “I don’t think God cares a whole lot about the outcome”.
