Against the Seahawks, the Dolphins proved that they could hang with one of the best teams in the NFL; Sunday they have the chance to show they can win against one. Perhaps it was the manner they lost this game, which has cast a doubt in many a fan’s mind that this is the same old Dolphins team.

Following a less-than-stellar season-opening performance, the Seattle Seahawks seemed to be facing the real possibility of having to move forward without Russell Wilson. I’m far from it. But, as usual, they failed to make the necessary plays when it mattered most.

After a 2-4 start to the season, Wilson led the Seahawks to win 7 of their next 8 games and clinch a 4th consecutive playoff appearance in their week 15 win over the Cleveland Browns. The Dolphins could have used Williams on Seattle’s final drive. Woodrow Wilson’s school district released a statement to the Inquirer saying that they stand by the students and coaches’ action and are “proud of their engagement with what is more broadly a very important social justice issue”.
Still, he is a great competitor, and it’s hard to imagine him missing a game for Seattle, but if he does it would only mean that this injury is no joke and that he really needs some time to nurse his ankle.
