Russell Wilson steals win away from Dolphins

After the Seahawks managed a last minute, 12-10 win in the home opener against the Dolphins, an ankle injury sustained by quarterback Russell Wilson has put his week two status in question.

Wilson injured the ankle when Dolphins defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh accidentally stepped on him in the second half.

On Monday morning, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson took to social media to let everyone know he plans to play in Week 2.

Carroll said that Wilson’s ankle is fine after undergoing medical tests, and that it’s “nothing very serious”.

“I thought our defense did a great job, had us in the position that we were in”, Gase said.

The rally, Wilson expanded, was spurred by the Seahawks’ “addiction to win”.

After a 12-10 loss to the Seattle Seahawks, when either kick could have made a difference, the Dolphins were kicking themselves at all the chances they squandered.

Meanwhile, the offensive line didn’t do Wilson any favors on Sunday, he was sacked three times and hit nine.

Be Civil – It’s OK to have a difference in opinion but there’s no need to be a jerk.

Playing through an ankle injury suffered in the third quarter, Wilson took Seattle 75 yards the final time the ball was in his hands. Wilson has not only never missed an National Football League game during his first four seasons, but he’s never missed an in-season practice or even appeared on an injury report. When he came to the sidelines though, he immediately found the trainers to have his ankle checked and taped. And like I said, I think last night, he nearly welcomed the challenge and had an attitude about, ‘Ok, here we go. Baldwin said Wilson had never before done that particular switch. The first missed extra point in Folk’s career and a blocked 22-yard attempt came back to haunt the Jets (0-1). It’s going to be hard for him to practice and stuff like that.

From the initial look of it, it appears head coach Pete Carroll is not completely confident in the rookie’s abilities to jump into the starting quarterback role.

As Badlwin said Sunday: “He has shown the propensity to do miraculous things”. But after just one game and the Rams’ attacking, athletic defensive front up next, Carroll said he, general manager John Schneider and his staff are considering bringing in a veteran backup QB. “We’ll see how it goes”.
