MISSED IT: Miami missed on three great scoring chances.

Miami quarterback Ryan Tannehill had 108 of his 186 passing yards in the fourth quarter and gave the Dolphins their first lead with a 2-yard touchdown run with 4:08 left.

Here are five thoughts gleaned from reviewing the Seahawks’ snap counts in the wake of Sunday’s 12-10 win over Miami. I know there’s going to be a lot of negativity around that. The team sources noted that Wilson is a fast healer and played through the rest of the game despite the ankle injury.

Landry was huge for the Dolphins on their touchdown drive, and was almost the MVP of the game for his two 20+ yard catches leading up to Ryan Tannehill’s scoring run.

Russell Wilson’s streak of 74 consecutive starts (including playoffs) to begin his career is in jeopardy.

Strong safety Reshad Jones had a team-best 12 tackles, defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh had four tackles and a sack, and defensive end Cameron Wake, playing nearly exclusively on third downs, had a quarterback hit. Schneider said in July he’d been talking to the representatives for Jackson, Seattle’s starter in 2011 and Wilson’s backup from 2012 through his contract expiring in January.

The Seahawks emerged with a 6-3 lead after a mistake-filled first half that saw the Dolphins stay close despite only 63 total yards. Wilson rebounded to complete a 22-yard pass to Baldwin on fourth down, setting up the game-winning score.

-One of the unexpected stars of the win was Seattle defensive lineman Cassius Marsh, who did most of his damage on special teams.

The defense, for the most part, was spectacular.

The Miami Dolphins are coming from a 21-10 loss to the Tennessee Titans last week in a preseason game.

Nice game for Christine Michael. The Sun-Sentinel reported that Steve Ross, the Dolphins’ owner, stood by their protest, approaching safety Michael Thomas in the locker room after the game and saying, “Let’s get ready to do something about this” after shaking Thomas’ hand.

The four Dolphins players proceeded with their message against what they consider the oppression of minorities in the United States, and they took the heat that came with it afterward. He is not expected to miss next Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Rams, but Ian Rapoport is reporting the team will likely sign another quarterback just in case.
