Russell Wilson will be able to play next week

It was an ugly game all around, but Seattle came through in the end. The Drive was sealed off with a game-winning touchdown from Russell Wilson to Doug Baldwin. However, he was clearly limited in his mobility. The one issue with these Seahawks resembles something that also has dogged the Mike Tomlin-era Steelers, and it drives their fans insane: They seem to play down to their opponent.

“Without question, he’s great at it”.

“His attitude is as charged up as you can imagine, as always”, coach Pete Carroll said.

Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill has had his share of struggles at New England.

During the same game, four Miami Dolphins kneeled on the sideline with hands on their hearts as “The Star Spangled Banner” played.

The Dolphins had a chance to reach the end zone early in the fourth quarter.

“There will be conversations, yeah”, Carroll said. We’re going to stay with what we’re doing and do the things that we do and expect to get better. I was just out there playing me and doing my job.

The Seattle Seahawks superstar quarterback Russell Wilson suffered a sprained ankle, but the team head coach Pete Carroll claimed that he expects the former to play in Week 2 game of the 2016 National Football League regular season against the Los Angeles Rams. Carroll was a bit cautious on Monday morning during his weekly radio show, saying he believed Wilson would be able play against the Rams but that it wasn’t certain.

NOTES: QB Russell Wilson practiced Wednesday despite the sprained right ankle suffered in Sunday’s win. Suh accidentally stepped on the back outside portion of Wilson’s right heel, wrenching his ankle awkwardly toward the turf.

Trevone Boykin got his helmet on and took snaps with starting center Justin Britt in front of the bench while Wilson was on the training table behind it getting his ankles heavily and hurridly taped.

The defense was in man coverage, and Wilson changed to a two-man route concept which involved Baldwin running a corner route from the slot and Jermaine Kearse running a snag route.

DT Aaron Donald: The third-year player from Pittsburgh quickly has emerged as one of the NFL’s best defensive linemen with 20 sacks in his first two seasons – two in a season-opening win against the Seahawks last year.

The challenge doesn’t get any easier next week taking on the Rams. The additions of Mario Williams and Jason Jones and the return of Cameron Wake give the Dolphins depth to be disruptive around Suh.

Wilson went on to say that there “wasn’t a ideal answer” and that he “understands the cause”.
