Ahmed Ramadan, a senior member of the Syrian National Coalition, said the opposition group has not received an invitation to Moscow and would not accept such a meeting anyway.

“Next week, we will invite opposition representatives to a consultation in Moscow”, said Mikhail Bogdanov, a Russian deputy foreign minister.
“Such close cooperation will allow us to unite the efforts of the government troops with other patriotic forces in Syria that used to be in the opposition and act as a united front against the common enemy – global terrorism”, the defence ministry said in a statement.
Russian Federation is planning to host talks between Syrian government officials and opposition leaders next week.
Moscow is opposed to Western position that Assad should go, warning that “regime change” in Syria could become a global-scale disaster.
Victoria Nuland, assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian Affairs, said Moscow has failed to exact any humanitarian concessions from Assad as a price for Russian support.
Russia’s Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova also told reporters on Tuesday that Lavrov and UN Special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura will meet in Moscow on Wednesday over the conflict plaguing Syria.
She said discussions in Vienna are “more promising” than previous talks on Syria.
“The Syrian people have been practically alone in putting up resistance and fighting these worldwide terrorists for several years now”, Putin said then. “They need to start talking, and the United Nations is ready for it”.
“Russia has firmly followed the line that it is the Syrian people who are supposed to decide on the fate of the president of a sovereign Syria”. Additionally, Russian Federation has continued to develop military bases to account for the additional soldiers, USA officials said. “The meeting… will possibly be with the participation of government representatives”, he said.
On the battlefield, a newly-formed US-backed Syrian rebel alliance advanced against Islamic State (IS) in the northeast province of Hasaka on Tuesday, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitoring group said.
Khoja indicated that the anti-Assad opposition now had low expectations of the U.S. after it blocked the delivery of anti-aircraft missiles from Saudi Arabia, though Free Syrian Army (FSA) units had been able to use Saudi-supplied TOW anti-tank missiles to destroy Syrian tanks in fighting around Aleppo.
