Russia says Iran talks at their most difficult phase
Russian Federation is among the six world powers negotiating with Iran a permanent nuclear deal for Tehran, but talks have been complicated and deadline for the agreement postponed.

In the words of Lavrov, the arms embargo “should be lifted as soon as possible”.
“Even more so, as Iran as we have all now see is a dedicated supporter of the fight against Islamic State and of clearing the region and the rest of the world of this threat. This is a package deal, and it is up to our Iranian colleagues to decide which period for the lifting of the arms embargo to agree upon”, Lavrov said.
This followed what diplomats said was a stormy meeting on Monday evening between USA Secretary of State John Kerry and the foreign ministers of Iran and the other major powers that one senior envoy said saw a “very heated exchange of views”.
Lavrov said he planned to return to Vienna from Russian Federation, where he and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi traveled for a summit.
Salehi told reporters, “Hopefully today is the last day”. But a Western official said that was “not true”.
The Iranian president is to hold talks with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on Thursday.

“Indeed, the decision as to what type of compromise and what solution will be the cornerstone of resolution of the Iranian nuclear program will be clearly made by Tehran”.
