Russian consulate general confirms detention of 3 Russians in Turkey
He also pledged that Turkey will take more visible security steps in densely populated areas in the wake of the attack after British officials warned holidaymakers to stay away from popular tourist sites.

As Turkish agency Dogan reported, “the Russians were arrested in the Mediterranean city of Antalya” when “certain documents” were also seized.
It was not immediately clear when the detentions occurred.
The Russian consulate general in Antalya, Turkey, has confirmed the fact that three Russian citizens have been detained in this country.
The bombing in central Istanbul on Tuesday killed at least 10 foreigners, mostly German tourists.
According to reports nine Germans and one Peruvian man were killed while at least 15 others were injured, including a man from Norway.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the Istanbul blast but Islamist, leftist and Kurdish militants, who are battling Ankara in southeast Turkey, have all carried out attacks in the past.
