Russian Federation asks new probe in airliner crash
Russian Federation and the rebels insist that if the plane was destroyed by a missile, it must have been fired by the Ukrainian military.

Several have been the theories that have tried to find the responsible of the tragic event that took the life of 298 people.
Russian Foreign Ministry on Tuesday said the country is ready to take part in the following investigation into the tragedy.
“We have said before and we still say that we did not shoot down the plane”, he said.
Malaysia vowed yesterday to seek prosecution of the “trigger-happy criminals” who shot down Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17, after a Dutch report found that the plane was hit by a BUK surface-to-air missile from rebel-held eastern Ukraine. The chairman of the safety board, Tjibbe Joustra said that the BUK missile was sacked from a rebel-controlled area.
However, Russian Federation did not settle back.
Storchevoi called the evidence presented on Tuesday “unfounded and biased”.
U.S. National Security Council spokesman Ned Price said the Dutch investigation was conducted in a professional manner and should serve as the basis for further work to identify those responsible for the aircraft’s destruction.
“On July 17, 2014, in eastern Ukraine, in broad daylight, a passenger airplane was shot out of the sky with a Buk missile”, he said.
The pilots of Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 were killed instantly by missile fragments but it can not be determined when the passengers died, air crash investigators say.
The microphones around the cockpit detected a “sound peak” before a deep silence, which allowed analysts to determine where the explosion occurred.
Dutch investigators said the missile detonated to the left side of the cockpit, sending the shrapnel into the plane at speeds of up to 5,600 miles per hour.
The blast sheered the cockpit off from the rest of the plane which then began breaking up, the mid-section crashing upside down before bursting into flames.
However, Hennadiy Zubko, head of a separate probe by Ukraine, said Ukrainian authorities had followed the established procedure. The answer was as straightforward as it is disquieting: nearly all operators were flying over that area. “They are fundamentally wrong, the lack of logic there is beyond comparison”, Oleg Storchevoi, deputy chief of the Russian Aviation Agency, said in a televised news conference on Wednesday.

There had been sufficient reason for the Ukrainian authorities to close the airspace above the eastern part of the country as a precaution, said investigators.
