“NATO does not seek confrontation and we don t want a new Cold War”.
“Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told the security conference Russian Federation is “not trying to achieve some secret goal in Syria”, but is trying to protect their national interests”.
A task force began its first meeting in Geneva, and its leader, Jan Egeland, said he hoped it could pave the way for aid to be delivered to besieged areas in Syria “without delay”.
Groups who are being bombed, Kerry said, will be disinclined to talk.
“Russia can prove by its actions that it will respect Ukraine’s sovereignty, just as it insists on respect for its own”, he said. That will allow the U.S.to maintain a division’s worth of equipment in Europe and an additional combat brigade in central and eastern Europe.
World powers agreed on an ambitious plan to cease hostilities in war-wracked Syria within a week and dramatically ramp up humanitarian access at talks in Munich aimed at ending the five-year war.
The conflict in Ukraine needs to be regulated by the full implementation of the Minsk agreements, the prime minister said, RIA Novosti reported. A new Cold War. The struggle between communism and capitalism defined the second half of the 20th century. Some experts believe that Russian Federation is taking steps to reacquire the countries that were once part of the Soviet Union.
