Brad Keselowski Racing’s Ryan Blaney earned his fourth-career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series victory in Wednesday night’s UNOH 200 at Bristol Motor Speedway, but it certainly was not easy.

Blaney rebounded after losing a lap early on the 0.533-mile oval when he was given a pass-through penalty for jumping a restart while leading. “To come from a lap down, to do it in that fashion, it says so much for this team to be able to charge back up there”.

Kyle Busch drove up to a second-place finish in the final two laps.
Busch started on the pole, with Blaney next to him on the front row. He was in position for his fourth victory of the year when Ty Dillon spun to bring out the final caution.
Driving away, Blaney was able to score his first Camping World Truck Series victory at Bristol, overcoming adversity throughout the event. “I got into (Turn 1) and saw an opening on the outside”.
Custer continued on up front, but his chance at the win blew out the proverbial window when he got into a spinning Spencer Gallagher on lap 160. Blaney led the Wednesday night 202-lap short track race two times for total of 40 laps.
GMS Racing’s Brandon Jones had second chair for the restart when it came, but Crafton was able to see off his challenge as the field got back up to speed and Jones was soon demoted to third by John Hunter Nemechek (SWM-NEMCO Motorsports). “I really don’t know what happened”, Custer said. I probably bunched everybody up because I was three-wide, but what are you going to do? “It’s a shame. We had the thing won”. Our truck was fast tonight. “There weren’t enough laps to catch the 29 (Blaney), and we were just in the wrong position”. Timothy Peters, John Wes Townley, Spencer Gallagher and Ben Kennedy round out the top ten.
Chevrolet has been unable to lock down a win in the last six NASCAR Sprint Cup races, but when it does get that coveted “W”, it will be the automaker’s 750th NASCAR win. “Our main goals the next three weeks are to win races and to continue to work hard to secure as many drivers as we can for the final 10-race run for the championship”.

The next Truck Series race will be the Chevrolet Silverado 250 at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in Ontario on August 30.
