According to Ben Way of Fox Sports, Lochte’s mother spoke with Fox Sports. “No, they were just, they just took their wallets and basically that was it”.
“I can tell you the story is absolutely not true”, spokesman Mark Adams said at the Olympic Park, after receiving a message on his mobile phone.
They rang the athlete’s mum, who said she was “terrified” and rushed to the party.
According to The Telegraph, Lochte was reportedly invited to the party in question by “a Brazilian swimmer” and according to The Independent, the incident happened after Lochte and three other American teammates were invited to the party.
Ileana Lochte said she was on her way to see Ryan late Sunday morning.
