Ryan Lochte’s ‘Dancing’ Partner Says ‘Heart Is Aching’ After Incident

The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed the identity of the two men after being taken into custody.
In the wake of Monday night’s disruption on “Dancing With the Stars,” producers of the competition series are considering stepping up security measures – particularly around controversial contestant Ryan Lochte. “This is a bad person with bad ethics, bad morality and he should not be rewarded”, said Saotoodeh, 59. The two intruders, Barzeen Soroudi and Sam Sotoodeh, were arrested soon afterwards. But some witness statements and surveillance videos support Lochte’s initial statement that the swimmers were robbed at the gas station by armed men who flashed badges and pointed guns at them before shaking the swimmers down for their wallets. Protesters were also later seen being loaded into a police vehicle outside the “Dancing with the Stars” studio.
On the 23rd Season Premiere of “Dancing With The Stars” on ABC which aired on September 12, 2016 anti-Ryan Lochte protestors attempted to storm the stage as the swimmer was being addressed by the judges.
In this clip you can see the general peanut gallery vibe at the taping, as well as some other Lochte protesters wearing shirts with his name crossed out in red. Host Tom Bergeron then quickly tossed to a commercial break. “We didn’t know what was going to happen”, Julianne Hough said.
Police were called to CBS studios in Los Angeles after the men were tackled by security guards during the live broadcast of the show as they ran onto the dance floor where the 32-year-old Lochte had just finished his routine with partner Cheryl Burke.
United States team officials banned Lochte for 10 months, requiring him to forfeit $US100,000 in bonuses and miss the 2017 world championships.

“We were shocked and we have a very good security system here”, Bergeron told ABC’s “Good Morning America” on Tuesday.
