Ryan Lochte says he agreed to ‘DWTS’ BEFORE he lied about Rio
Lochte has been charged with making a false police report. “I think that’s what happened”, Lochte told Good Morning America on Tuesday, when asked whether he had embarrassed the United States with his actions.

“I don’t know if I would consider it a robbery or extortion, or us just paying up for the poster I ripped”, Lochte told Amy Robach during his first live interview since the Olympics ended.
Julianne Hough is also returning the ballroom as a judge.
“It was still hours after the incident and I’m not one to make excuses, but I was still intoxicated”, he said discussing his lie.
“I think it’s time to hang up my Speedos and put on my dancing shoes”, Lochte said Tuesday morning on “GMA”. Lochte, on the other hand, was paired with returning fan favorite pro dancer Cheryl Burke. The swimmer had said he, along with teammates Jack Conger, Gunnar Bentz and Jimmy Feigen were robbed at gunpoint in a taxi on August 15, by men posing as police officers as they returned to the Olympic Village from a party. A very big mistake.
Other “Dancing With the Stars” contestants in the season starting on September 12 will include 16 year-old U.S. Olympic gymnast Laurie Hernandez, former Texas governor Rick Perry, and rapper Vanilla Ice.
American football star Calvin Johnson, reality TV star Amber Rose and Indy race auto driver James Hinchcliffe are also among those scheduled to compete.
“Everyone has got to be sick and exhausted about hearing about this”.
Perry, who will star in the ABC show’s 23rd season, took to Twitter to share a photograph of himself and professional dance partner Emma Slater, adding that he hoped to leverage the opportunity to draw attention to veterans affairs. “I was still going through the emotions of having a gun pulled on me”.
