Ryan Murphy Teases AMERICAN HORROR STORY Season 6 Cast & Setting
“I think the show has always felt to me like an opera, so I think both of the things we’re writing right now will have a certain feel”, he revealed. “We’ll talk about it soon, but we haven’t landed on it yet”, Ryan told the audience inside the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. Ultimately, many fans were waiting for a big season 6 announcement over anything else.

Ryan Murphy teased details about the highly anticipated sixth season of AMERICAN HORROR STORY during Sunday’s PaleyFest panel on the FX drama series.
Murphy also said that the entirety of the key players from “American Horror Story: Hotel” have been invited back, whether it be Matt Bomer, Kathy Bates, Cheyenne Jackson, or others. “But, I think I know what the victor is”.
Addressing a panel of previous cast members, which closed this year’s PaleyFest, Murphy quipped: “I will tell you that every darling person up here that wants to come back can come back”.
And while specifics surrounding the forthcoming cast are still mostly secret, Season 5 standout Lady Gaga will definitely return, she confirmed in a March 4 interview with Z100’s Elvis Duran and the Morning Show.
Each year, Murphy and his co-executive producer Brad Falchuck typically use the Paley Fest to reveal the theme for the upcoming season and which cast members are returning, but no new information was revealed by the producing team. The multi-hyphenate revealed that she would return to AHS for Season 6 during a morning radio interview with Z100 NY, adding, “I can’t promise you how, or when, or anything like that”. “She was one of the most emotionally available actresses I’ve worked with”.
“American Horror Story” season six is expected to debut in the fall of 2016.

“The deeper we go into the series we will see that it is a definite universe and all of the worlds are connected”, Murphy said (via Variety). And in that case, O’Hare helpfully pointed out, they can go with American Horror Story: Retirement Home and just call it a never-ending day.
