Paul Ryan’s primary challenger, Paul Nehlen, had some inflammatory things to say about Ryan in an interview with Breitbart News Daily.
Trump’s failure to back McCain is not surprising to most, since they don’t enjoy a good political relationship – but it may be somewhat of a slap to Ryan, who has already endorsed Trump for president.
Mirroring the language Ryan used about supporting Trump before his eventual endorsement, Trump told the newspaper he was “not quite there yet” in endorsing Ryan, the highest ranking elected Republican, in next Tuesday’s Wisconsin primary. “And I’m pleased to do it”.
But on Monday, Nehlen got a Twitter shout out from Donald Trump, which could certainly boost his numbers.
“I’m just not there yet”, Trump said in the interview.
She says national security would be in danger under a Trump presidency and she encourages all Republicans to support Clinton in November. Khizr Khan cited their son Humayun Khan’s military service and sacrifice and criticized Trump’s proposed temporary ban on Muslims from entering the United States. “And we are confident in a victory next week regardless”.
Trump’s rebuke of Ryan and McCain came as President Barack Obama charged that Trump was “unfit to serve as president” and “woefully unprepared to do this job”.
“The speaker is going to remain focused entirely on ensuring we deliver strong Republican majorities this fall”, he said.
McCain’s response was a lengthy denunciation in which he said the GOP nomination does not confer on Trump “unfettered license to defame those who are the best among us”. Kelly Ayotte, who is in a tough re-election battle and hit Trump over his remarks against the Khan family.
Although Ryan endorsed Trump’s presidential bid weeks after he became the presumptive republican nominee.he has criticized Trump for some of his controversial words and proposals.

We are a republic, not a democracy. He also ripped into New Hampshire Sen.
