Ryan’s opponent blasts House speaker
Trump has now seen fit to reward Ryan’s cooperation by praising his primary opponent Paul Nehlen. “We need fighters in this country”.

“We need very, very strong leadership”.
The Indiana governor said he had spoken with Trump earlier on Wednesday about announcing.
As next Tuesday’s Wisconsin primary approaches, Mr Trump walked away from endorsing Mr Ryan, instead lending support to the challenger, Paul Nehlen.
In July, the campaign raised $80 million in small donations, compared to Democratic rival Hillary Clinton’s $90 million, the Trump campaign official said.
Donald Trump may not endorse Paul D. Ryan for his congressional reelection, but Trump’s campaign manager accidentally endorsed the House speaker for another role on Thursday – the presidency.
“I think what Donald Trump said is he’s not there yet”, Pence said.
I exchanged messages Tuesday evening with a longtime ally of Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort, whom I asked about who was calling the shots in the campaign.
Ryan never sought Trump’s endorsement, his spokesman said. But in light of it all, Pence has released statements seemingly interpreting Trump’s remarks, perhaps to try to make the ticket more palatable to voters. Nehlen said on CNN’s “At This Hour”. The statement did not address the endorsement issue. All three have said they would support Trump as the GOP presidential nominee.
Sources close to the campaign are describing a series of missteps that are trailing the GOP presidential nominee, most prominently his now multi-day battle against Khizr Khan, the Muslim father of a killed United States soldier. On Twitter, he said, “In order to try and deflect the horror and stupidity of the Wikileakes disaster, the Dems said maybe it is Russian Federation dealing with Trump”. John McCain and Kelly Ayotte, days after his running mate, Donald Trump, refused to endorse the embattled Republican senators.
Trump made headlines after he clarified that he was not ready to support Ryan in his primary.
“I’m not there yet”, he said. As one of the most powerful political figures in the U.S., Ryan is constantly in the national spotlight, forcing Nehlen to do something to grab headlines.
The Republican nominee had implied that Ghazala Khan, mother of Capt. Humayun Khan, stood silently alongside her husband at the Democratic National Convention because her Muslim religion restricted her from speaking.

Trump’s presidential campaign has appealed to Capitol Hill for support amid the controversy, including circulating talking points for lawmakers to use, but has found little support. “He has not done a good job for the vets and I’ve always felt that he should have done a much better job for the vets”. The response indicated that Manafort, a veteran of Republican politics brought in this spring for the transition from primaries to the general election, has lost control over his candidate.
