Ryan: Trump is “much more disciplined”

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump speaks with “Today” show co-anchor Matt Lauer at the NBC Commander-In-Chief Forum held at the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space museum aboard the decommissioned aircraft carrier Intrepid, New York, Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2016.

“It is a game to him”.

Trump renewed his praise of Russian President Vladimir Putin for having “great control over his country”.

Clinton, 68, and Trump, 70, have clashed repeatedly over foreign policy, but their battle rose to a new level Wednesday night when the two were separately grilled over their national security credentials at a NY forum. At the NBC News Forum, Trump touted the Russian leader’s “82 percent approval rating”, predicted he would have a “very very good relationship” with Putin, and compared Putin favorably to Obama.

Trump’s campaign fired back at Clinton after her session with reporters, saying she was resorting to “unhinged and dishonest” attacks.

In fact, Ms. Clinton’s emails have endured much more scrutiny than an ordinary person’s would have, and the criminal case against her was so thin that charging her would have been to treat her very differently.

A senior adviser, speaking on the condition of anonymity to share details ahead of the speech, said Trump would ensure the additional spending is fully paid for.

Clinton said problems at the VA have “not been as widespread as it has been made out to be”, but she’s acknowledged systemic problems and urged reform.

In a recent poll from the nonpartisan Pew Research Centre, about one in four voters said they were undecided or did not know when asked to choose between Clinton and Trump.

She says extremists “are saying, ‘Please Allah, make Trump president of America'”.

“The obvious takeaway from these numbers is that Donald Trump has staged a comeback from his post-Democratic convention lows, especially in Pennsylvania and OH”. But let’s just say that it’s as likely as Trump’s witnessing thousands of New Jersey Muslims cheering after 9/11. “She tried to make up for her awful performance last night so she went on the tarmac and told more lies”.

“But I was opposed to that war from the beginning, long before my interview with Howard Stern”, Trump said.

During the forum, Trump also insisted on repeating a claim that has been previously debunked – that the businessman was “totally against the war in Iraq”.

Election officials across the country are pushing back against Donald Trump’s assertions that the presidential election may be rigged, arguing that too many safeguards exist against engineered results nationally or in individual states. He stood by a previous comment that appeared to blame military sexual assaults on men and women serving together, but added he would not seek to remove women from the military.

The lines of questioning during Donald Trump’s part of the night highlighted the stark gaps in his military and foreign policy.

As for fighting the Islamic State going forward, she promised, “We are not putting ground troops into Iraq ever again and we are not putting ground troops into Syria”.

So did Trump support the war or not?

Clinton, who had been criticized by Trump for not holding a news conference since December 5, also took reporters’ questions in an informal session on her plane on Tuesday.
