Sabres rule in shots but lose to Penguins

On Thursday night, Buffalo Sabres head coach Dan Bylsma made his return to Pittsburgh to face the Penguins – the club he coached for the better part of six seasons.

We hope that karma hits this selfish Penguins fan… hard..

And then an old man ruined the moment. Even the woman who initially reached toward the puck – with her non-nacho-holding hand – seems disgusted with the result.

“Yeah, it’s weird how it works”, Crosby said Friday during a sit-down interview after the Penguins arrived in Toronto. “Especially the last four games, I feel that I’ve got a few real good opportunities to score and produced a few good chances, so I think just sticking with that and make sure the effort is there, everything will take care of itself”. Coach Dan Bylsma saw Bogosian and invited him on to the ice, complete with the coach’s escort as he held the player up in mock fashion. “And to make sure I’m doing the right things out there”.

The Sabres lost to the Penguins 4-3. Chirping the kid after you steal his puck away is a greasy move, man.

Then on the power play, Malkin took a feed at the edge of the crease, tapped the puck from his skate to the tape of his stick and past Johnson. What’s more, Iceburgh, the Penguins’ mascot, one-upped the Pens’ former leader and gave the kid a freakin’ Sidney Crosby sweater!

“He’s been hurting a bit, but something like that won’t keep Phil out of the lineup”, Rutherford said.

Because of how it all turned out, Trey said: “I’m 100 percent sure I’d rather not get the puck than get the puck” Bylsma first threw.

But brazenly swiping a souvenir intended for a little kid as thousands watch? “But once the puck drops, it’s not going to be a big deal”.

The last time both teams scored two goals in less than minute during the third period was on February 8, 2014, when the New York Islanders (0:57 apart) and Colorado Avalanche (0:45 apart) did it. But he didn’t leave quietly.

CBS Sports reported that the man who snagged the original puck was not in his seat for the rest of the second period.

“We don’t know his situation, and that’s why we don’t want to overreact with any anger toward him”, he said.
