Sacramento to snap out of 90-degree days with cooler, damp weather

The National Weather Service is forecasting a quick burst of fall with cooler temperatures and perhaps a few showers in the next couple of days. Although precipitation from this system looks to remain well north and west of the region, where portions of the Adirondacks and higher elevations may see a few snow mix in, a much colder and brisk airmass will prevail for the weekend. Partly sunny, with a high near 79.

Sunday: Sunny and pleasant. The warning is in effect Saturday night through Sunday morning and Sunday night through Monday morning.

Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 59. Low near: 48. High near 78.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny. Afternoon highs in the upper 70s with winds from the south at 5-15 miles per hour.

Friday Afternoon- Mostly sunny, with a steady temperature around 62.
