Sagna: I Wasn’t Ready For Liverpool
Manchester City defender Bacary Sagna has revealed he wasn’t properly prepared or ready for the defeat against Liverpool.

During his stint at Signal Iduna Park, Klopp guided the club to two Bundesliga titles and also helped them to reach a Champions League final.
The German told reporters: “I hope [he] is well enough”.
But Klopp, who replaced Brendan Rodgers as coach at the start of October, knows that his side have to start replicating the form they showed against City on a regular basis.
“We took the game to them, we didn’t give them any time on the ball, pressed them high up the pitch and that’s what got us our win”.
What we had to do was disturb their build up play, because if you let them play how they want, you have no chance. “We couldn’t be sure that we would start with the biggest confidence after what happened against Palace but now have more and more confidence in the squad”, he said with his trademark smile before reminding his charges that there were opportunities that went begging.
He said: “I was very fortunate to be in a position where if had stayed at Manchester City, or if I had moved to Liverpool I was going to be happy and in a good place”.
Firmino getting the goal, Liverpool’s third of the day and one his performances in recent weeks have deserved.
A returning Sergio Aguero reduced the deficit before half-time but Liverpool, who missed a host of glorious opportunities, finally made the game safe with 10 minutes remaining thanks to a fantastic Martin Skrtel half-volley.
“We did really well and are very pleased with the result”.
“I do not think that it changes, though, a few fundamental problems they still have – when Vincent Kompany does not play, you can see that they struggle at the back”.

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini claimed that his team could not have played worse had they tried following their 4-1 drubbing at home to Liverpool on Saturday. Sterling was actually one of the team’s better players in the match, while the defensive midfield got run over by hungrier, more industrious players. We need common experience that we can talk about, work with and other things.
