Saint West name banned in New Zealand

“Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star Kim Kardashian and her husband Kanye West recently welcomed their second child named Saint West on Saturday, Dec. 5 at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West named their new son Saint West, which, in our eyes, lived up to expectations, as it was both a surprising choice, but also, in a certain way, felt like an inevitable one.

Kim announced the name on her subscription website kimkardashianwest.com in a post titled “To Our Fans” and it reads: “Saint West, 12.05.15, 8 pounds 1 ounce”, accompanied by four emojis depicting their family.

Kevin Mazur Kanye West and Kim Kardashian West have reportedly taken their son Saint home from the hospital. E! News have reported that the name was chosen because they believe that their child is a blessing.

According to New Zealand Herald newspaper, the department doesn’t allow any names which imply a child has a title or a rank. She was kept off the small screen for the first year of her life, and even now only appears on select episodes of Kim’s TV shows. In fact, the 35-year-old and her hubby hadn’t decided on the flawless name Sunday evening.

Wait for it – Saint West.

“I felt like it will just come to us”, she added. “She’s so sweet and yesterday she said, ‘Mommy, can I give baby brother a kiss on your tummy?’ and she kissed my stomach. From their difficulty conceiving to her weight battle to the baby being breached, Kim and Kanye really felt like God was with them every second”. Is Saint West a pretty good name?

“I know they were doing Robert for the middle name in honour of her father”, the well-placed pal told the magazine. “Kim & Kanye just did it”, and there’s also this: “I liked Saint West better when it was Yves Saint West”.
