Sakho to return for Hammers

West Ham are coming of a win against Sunderland on the weekend and they will be feeling pretty good about themselves.

This campaign, however, the landscape has changed.

Hammers manager Slaven Bilic wants the match to be memorable for what happens on the pitch, rather than off it.

The Senegalese frontman had netted five teams this season prior to the injury and his return will be a big boost as West Ham’s other forwards have been injury prone during this campaign.

“Watford have come in and they’re doing really well this season as well, so it’s been great to be a part of”.

“The message is I would like the fans to be behind us, to be behind the team, behind the club in a positive way”.

“I think it’s an important week”.

“We want to be stable at home”. We need to assess him tomorrow morning because it’s a long day until the game against West Ham, and then we’ll decide if he’s available. We had a couple of home defeats at the start but we are not losing since.

“‘It should be a good game because of the position they are in, and we are in”. “They have scored the most goals”.

Walker admits he is as surprised as anyone to see the Foxes still leading the field – two points ahead of Spurs – at the end of February. They’ve kept it going, they’ve kept their foot on the gas and they fully deserve to be where they are now.

Bilic added: “We have been playing well and we hope it continues. Hard to believe a player of his stature has got ten bookings and will be out for two games”. The back four and keeper take a lot of credit.
