Saks OFF 5th to open in Winnipeg
Another major retail player will be establishing its first presence in the Metro Vancouver region: Saks Fifth Avenue announced today its plans to open a Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5th store at the Tsawwassen Mills shopping centre next year.

It’s one of four Canadian locations announced Thursday.
Place Ste-Foy is now undergoing a major redevelopment.
The store, called Saks Off 5th, will open in the spring of 2017.
The B.C. location will be at the 1.2 million square-foot Tsawwassen Mills project that’s under construction by Ivanhoe Cambridge. “Saks OFF 5TH store will anchor the property, and its opening will coincide with the launch of Outlet Collection Winnipeg”, said a news release.
The store in Winnipeg will be 32,687 sq. feet and will anchor Outlet Collection Winnipeg.
Both of those properties are owned by Ivanhoé Cambridge, the real-estate arm of the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec. Tsawwassen Mills, opening in fall 2016.
