The drama has trumped just about everything surrounding the White Sox.

Sale was in a reported dispute over Chicago’s plans to wear 1976 throwback uniforms before he was scheduled to start on Saturday.

His reaction incited responses from some other teams, including minor league teams, often known for their flashy uniforms. To be more specific, he picked up a knife, headed into the locker room, and began to slash the vintage jerseys to shreds, despite his teammates’ attempts to dissuade him from doing so. Farmer, 25, went 0-0 with a 3.94 ERA in 10 appearances earlier this season.

Sale is due to return from his suspension for a Thursday start against the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field.

Jarrod Saltalamacchia – His two hits since the All-Star break have been home runs – one to win the game, one to tie it.

“I love the guys in our clubhouse”, Eaton said. The jerseys had collars in the style of the 1976 White Sox, and Sale apparently found them uncomfortable and lamented that the team was putting “PR and jersey sales” ahead of winning.

For the first time since the freakish incident on Saturday in which he shredded a clubhouse full of jerseys, Chicago White Sox pitcher Chris Sale is speaking out, and is standing by his actions.

With the White Sox struggling this season – they are two games under the.500 mark – Hahn said recently that the team is open to all options at the trade deadline. Reportedly, there were great boos from the crowd when Sale’s suspension was announced over the stadium’s PA. “It’s nothing that can’t be smoothed over”, Ventura said.

“Everybody wears a uniform that they don’t necessarily like, but you wear it”, Ventura said.

Chicago’s ace told Scott Merkin of MLB.com he did not want those uniforms to be in the team’s plans on a day he was scheduled to start.

“Really today, if he wasn’t able to go he probably would have gone on the DL”, Ventura said.”I think he’s still at the point if we can give him today it would be better”.

When taking that into consideration, you can understand Sale’s readiness to become the latest player to protest a throwback uni.
