Salesforce continues growth in Q2 with revenue up 25%

However, its EPS guidance for the third quarter was $0.21-0.22, below the $0.24 mean estimate the consensus has held.

Salesforce reported adjusted earnings of 7 cents per share, which beat the Zacks Consensus Estimate by 2 cents and marked growth of 40% year-over-year. The firm’s quarterly revenue was up 25.0% compared to the same quarter a year ago. During the same period past year, the business earned $0.19 earnings per share.

Looking ahead, CRM forecast Q3 earnings to range from $0.20 to $0.21 per share, which would miss analysts’ view of $0.24.

Several hedge funds recently added to or reduced their stakes in the stock.
