Salinas girl taken in stolen minivan found unharmed
A little girl is safely back with family after the vehicle she was in was stolen from a home early this morning. At 5:44 a.m., the girl was abducted from was abducted in a running, unattended vehicle.

Around 8 a.m., a resident of an apartment complex in the 900 block of Heather Circle noticed the van and alerted a maintenance worker.
Salinas, Ca – A 3-year-old Salinas girl who was inside her parent’s van when it was stolen from the driveway of their home this morning has been found unharmed. The worker began driving through the complex and located the van abandoned with the child inside.
The vehicle she went taken away in was a light-gold 2002 Honda Odyssey with a California license plate 5NEM296, officers said. She has black hair and brown eyes.
She was last seen wearing a blue shirt with a Christmas design over a red long sleeve shirt, red trousers and no shoes.
At this point, there is no suspect information and the public is encouraged to call with any information leading to the identification of the person responsible for this crime.
