The expectations were always high from PRDP and as per the latest reports coming up the movie has got off to an earth-shattering opening at the Box Office. The reviews however have been largely negative and the producers feel that these reviews may have an adverse effect on ticket sales after the first weekend. However, this news hasn’t reached the ears of his good friend, Salman Khan yet!

The Satellite and Music rights were sold for Rs 57 crores and now PRDP have to recover only 23 crores for its box office collection and it looks an easy task to recover a small amount of money.
Till three days, the PRDP worldwide collections stands at Rs. 127.05 crores and this increments the income expectations from the movie to at least Rs. 150 crores as the worldwide first-weekend collection.
“Prem Ratan Dhan Payo“, which has Sonam Kapoor in the lead along with Salman, entered the coveted Rs. 100 crore club in three days of its release. The Rs 40 crore film industry gathering is just for the Hindi rendition of the film.
“Prem Ratan Dhan Payo” has defeated the opening day business of Salman Khan’s previous releases, “Bajrangi Bhaijaan” and “Kick”, both scored Rs. 184.62 crore and Rs. 164.
The Soorag Barjatya film is also expected to perform well at the U.S. box office. She was acclaimed in what can simply be described as her professionis biggest movie to date – Prem Ratan Dhan Payo on her effectiveness.
The film’s performance has been described as “outstanding” and “phenomenal” by trade experts.
The directorial venture of Sooraj Bajratya is making the makers happy by its huge box office collections.
Baahubali collected $ 1 mn: $ 1,294,451 (Rs. 8.20 cr) in U.S. alone and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo collected $ 1,604,914 (Rs. 10.62 cr), which even includes the collections from the US-Canada, UK-Ireland, UAE-GCC, Australia and rest of the World.

After the success of Bajrangi Bhaijaan which made over Rs 300 crore at box office in India, Salman Khan is on his way to deliver another bumper hit with this sanskaari film.
