The actor’s sister and her husband, Aayush Sharma, were traveling overseas when the robbery took place, according to mid-day.com.
The Khar police has arrested the domestic help of Arpita Khan-Sharma – the younger sister of actor Salman Khan – in connection with the robbery of Rs 3.25 lakh in cash and valuables from her house. Later, the police registered a case and started the investigation.
Their initial suspect is 35-year-old house help, Afsa Khan, who had been missing since July 30. The police authorities have hinted at the fact that the maid named Aafsa might be behind the theft.
Arpita Khan Sharma and Aayush Sharma came back from their holiday and realized about the theft.
A police team spoke to Arpita’s driver and domestic help of neighbouring apartments and traced the accused to her home in Nalasopara from where she was nabbed. The police officials are trying to look for her to get the details.

Apart from cash worth Rs 2.25 lakh, a 10 gm gold coin and designer clothes were also stolen, the paper reported.
