Salman Khan, Sultan sets Pakistani Box Office on fire, shatters several records
Afterward a record-breaking opening day with the collection 36.54 crores, Salman Khan starrer “Sultan” is still doing awesome business on the Bollywood box office, especially the film had a rocking feedback on Thursday due to the Eid holiday. The film will easily cross Rs 40 crore on Wednesday. As I was playing young parts in (other) films, and for Dangal I will have to play an old man, be fat, grey hair.

To answer the first question, the film did manage to entertain family audiences who it was targeted at. But little did we know the critics too will applaud Salman’s performance so wholeheartedly. The film, produced by Aditya Chopra under the Yash Raj Films banner, is slated to release on July 6. Although, the background of the two heroes are different, the main base of the film is same!!
The advance booking for the film was the strongest seen over the past couple of years, with some territories showing 80% advance bookings on day 1. After hitting in more than 4500 screens in India, it collected more than Rs. 35 Crore in India only. Sultan 2nd day office collection may hit Rs. 45 Crore as today is Eid.
At some centers, Sultan movie tickets worth Rs. 1 lakh were sold within hours of opening the ticket counters.
So as we all expected, Sultan is shattering all the possible records at the box-office.
According to BoxofficeIndia.com, the film has managed to earn between Rs 37-38 crore on it’s opening day. Nonetheless, the gap between Rs 100 crore and Sultan’s Day 2 collection is quite huge.
So, what didn’t go as plan. Zafar further breaks the film into three distinct acts, and the actor excels in each of them.
‘Sultan’ had gained vast earnings on the first day itself. Adarsh predicted a “historic” five-day weekend for the film.
However, Komal Nahta, another trade expert, is positive that despite the slow sales, “Sultan” has every chance of breaking all records when it comes to box office collection.

This year he’s nearly unrecognizable in Sultan, having bulked up and grown a moustache to play ex-wrestler Sultan Ali Khan, who must defeat the odds stacked against him to make a stunning comeback. Bhai’s body, Bhai’s expressions in the poster, all was world class. Anushka was also there but I didn’t pay much attention to her. Maza aa gaya kasam se, I m going gin in th vning to look at the poster.
